Just as Sanji have said, they butted into slave trader's business and now everyone wanted them dead. At least everyone involved in the trade and that meant a lot of people - slavery has become such a lucrative business in post-Whitebeard era, everyone wanted a piece of it. In some areas of the world it gained semi-legal status, thanks to World Nobles' insatiable need for slave supply, and World Government's silent approval. Once the Slave Auction House in Sabaody Archipelago closed down (or more like CRUSHED down), the door to life-long prosperity opened for all those who couldn't meet House's requirements. All rules and restrictions were gone, and all the chaos that followed Whitebeard Pirates spectacular fall provided lots of supply.
On that particular island the business flourished under the protection of local authorities. The docks were soon turned into slave logistics centre, with auction events, warehouses adapted for human trafficking and ships sailing in and out freely. The marines did not bother them - they were in on it, which sadly wasn't an isolated case.
Apart from crooked marines, the traders had another reason to feel safe - they had a weapon that kept in check anyone who'd try to interfere. If anyone posed a threat to them, they would unleash their its terror, and their enemies would never make it out of the bay alive. At least none ever made it until the Thousand Sunny literally flew out of the bay, carrying all of her crew and two admirals on board, all sound and safe - for now.
The unnamed terror followed them to the open sea, and kept getting closer and closer with every minute.

"We can't run away", Sanji concluded his account. "There isn't enough cola left to fuel another coup de burst. There is hardly enough to keep Franky running, he won't be able to fight for now anyway."
Robin frowned, biting her lip.
"What is that weapon they used?", she asked. "Does anyone have any idea?"
"I'm sorry, Miss Robin, I can't help you with that. It just came out of nowhere ..."
"Oh, great you were there", Zoro snarled.
"As if you could do any better! All we saw was ships trembling then breaking and getting sucked under the water ... We have yet to see how you solve the mystery and save the day, Mr Green Cut!"
"You better make sure you live to see it happen, Mr Eyebrow!"
"Whaddya saay?!"
Robin sighted, took last sip of her tea and got up, leaving them both to fight to their hearts content. She had an idea of an escape plan, but that idea involved Robin talking to someone she considered a deadly enemy for so long, she could now hardly bring herself to think about them as human, much less as an ally.

Sakazuki was indeed asleep, curled up on the grass. He was even snoring.
"Sometimes", Borsalino spoke to no one in particular, "I can't believe this guy even exists."
He turned to Luffy and grinned. There was something so undeniably sympathetic about him, Luffy simply grinned back.
"You guys are friends?" he asked, squatting down.
"Sakazuki's not a friend to anybody including himself, so I guess the answer is 'no'. Why'd you help us back there? What kind of pirate are you, eeeh?"
Strawhat Luffy laughed, which sounded a lot like 'shishishi', then scratched his head. That again reminded Borsalino of Luffy's grandfather, Monkey D. Garp.
"I am ..." Luffy puffed out his chest and proudly raised his chin. "... the man who will become the Pirate King!"
Borsalino remained very much indifferent.
"Congratulations", he said. "So, why did the future Pirate King save the actual Fleet Admiral of the marines? I was under impression that you guys didn't quite like each other. I'm pretty sure he'd burn another hole through your chest, if you gave him a chance ..."
"Yeah, I know", said Luffy. Just like that. Borsalino suddenly felt as if it wasn't his body that got reversed, but instead he got thrown 50 years back in time and faced the future vice-admiral of the marines, young Monkey D. Garp himself.
Now that was creepy. Borsalino's inherent grin faded a little.
"So, why did you save him?" He asked. "And me, since we're at it."
Luffy tilted his head to one side, and what appeared on his face was clearly an envision of great mental struggle. After a while, he nearly had steam coming out of his ears. Borsalino froze and stopped blinking, struck with awe. Was the young pirate not only Garp's look-alike, but also a Garp-like-moron? It must run in the family then, because as Borsalino remembered, Dragon always seemed just as thick. Thus totally unpredictable and dangerous.
"Right!" Strawhat slapped himself on the knee, and straightened up. He looked quite serious all of a sudden. "I still hate you guys", he said, "but right now I hate those slave traders more! I have decided I won't let them get what they want. If they want Akainu dead, I won't let them have it." After a short pause he added in his usual, happy-go-lucky manner: "I will kick his ass some other day myself!"

Sakazuki dreamed of flowers. He was running through the bushes, running away from something he couldn't see. He couldn't turn back to have a look, but he could hear that thing creeping on him, creaking, grinding and scratching, like a huge wooden creature running through the garden. The white little flowers falling all around him, twirling, covering the ground like a flowery snow. Like that time back home, when he was running through the garden, hearing that terrifying sizzle of houses burning behind him. The flowers and the ashes falling all around him, like a snow ...
He woke up. The vision disappeared, but he could still hear the noise. It was the same creaking sound he heard back on the island, right before all ships started to crumble and sink. It was getting closer, causing ship's entire hull to vibrate.
Sakazuki only just realized he was lying on a bench, wrapped in a blanket and hugging a pillow. After a quick look he recognized the room as the below deck Aquarium Bar. He stared at the huge fish tanks mounted into the walls, having some serious trouble with fighting off the childlike feelings of joyful admiration and curiosity.
This being a child nonsense really has to stop. Like, now.
Somewhere out of his sight, there were people talking. He now could recognize some of the voices.
"...if miss navigator is right", Nico Robin was saying, "we might only have an hour before the storm hits us."
"Can we make it through?"
"Not with all the damage." That was the cyborg speaking. "I can't fix all that until we get somewhere safe to anchor. I'm running out of fuel here, too."
"Even if we make it to another port, those guys will follow us."
"We have to fight them", that was Robin again. "But we don't know what is that thing they were using. None of us saw it."
Something moved in Sakazuki's memory, but his conflicted mind could hardly focus on anything right that moment. Meanwhile the discussion continued:
"... so what are we waiting for?", shouted the Blackleg. "Let's turn the ship around and take 'em on, shall we?"
"Sanji, please do not speak again."
"Yes, miss Nami!"
"Didn't she ask you to shut up, Mr Browcurl?"
"Oi! You guys stop it!"
"Anyway", Nami went on, "I do think Robin's plan is our only chance. The problem is, will that little monster cooperate?"
Sakazuki could almost feel people looking at him. He shut his eyes and pretended to sleep. He could swear he heard Borsalino snigger somewhere close, but he choose to ignore it.
"Nevertheless, we have to try to convince him, if we want to make it work. What say you, captain?"
"Luffy?"
"Oi, Luffy!"
There was a snapping sound, like of someone slapping themselves on the knee. Something moved on the other end of the bench, and when Sakazuki opened one of his eyes to have a look, he saw Strawhat Luffy raising his head and saying:
"I have now decided! We're going along with Robin's plan!"
He then turned towards Sakazuki, which almost made the latter fall off the bench.
"You're gonna help us out", said Luffy.
Sakazuki got up in an instant, as if moved by an iron spring. His arms turned red in a cloud of smoke, while the old Nami's t-shirt he was wearing bursted into flames. Some of the crew moved as far away from him as they could.
"I will never help you", he snapped. "You're out of your right mind to even ask me to do that, Dragon's son!"
Luffy's eyes narrowed for a split second.
"I wasn't asking... Akainu."
Here's the third installment of my stupid ff. I'm trying to make the plot sound at least interesting, since I can't really make it believable or logical. I know I repeat that a lot, but I really hope it's not terribly boring.

The next chapter will be the last, so...
Anyway, I thank all of you for reading this and please, if you have any thoughts, leave a comment - I really appreciate that.
Enjoy! (if it's even possible)
